Villains’ Sinister Soiree: A Wicked Takeover of Cinderella Castle with VIP Parade Viewing, Fireworks and Delicious Sweets at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Picture
Seems to be the new fad at WDW now a days, up-charging for events and premium packages. The new one just announced is the Villian's Sinister Soiree. For the small additional fee of $99.00 for children 3 years old and up, on TOP of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party admission tickets, you can enjoy this new Villians experience. Lady Tremaine will welcome guests as her personal piano player provides the music. She will sing while you enjoy yummy Villian inspired  desserts.

 Your tickets include:

Preferred Viewing for the 8:15 p.m. Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade
Watch the Headless Horseman lead off the parade on a hair-raising ride, followed by a collection of frightful floats and some of your favorite Disney Characters in Halloween costumes.

Preferred Viewing for HalloWishes Fireworks Spectacular
The Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion and some of the most notorious Disney Villains light up the sky to wicked remixes of their favorite songs.

Dessert Soiree at Cinderella’s Royal Table
Lady Tremaine shares her musical talents while you enjoy themed desserts, specialty non-alcoholic drinks, entertainment and visits from some of your favorite Disney villains. Each guest gets an autograph card and souvenir Maleficent dragon cup.

Tickets for the soiree are limited and reservations recommended! Call 407-939-5262

So it sounds like great fun right? Stuck in a rock and a hard place because although it sounds amazing, it is not a low cost event to attend at all. It seems like every few weeks Disney has a new event they are charging extra for. What are your thoughts on this?

I love Disney, but I am NOT happy about this. I went to MNSSHP last year and I enjoyed it for what it was worth. I would have loved to meet Maleficent this time around but it seems as though if you don't have an extra $99 laying around in your house, you're "SOL". And her and the Evil Queen are only at this exclusive event, so if you don't have tickets to this event you won't meet them at all since this event is the SOLE way to meet them.

I am hopefully that after Disney hears how many people were upset about not only the ticket prices for this event, but on how the actual event itself went, that they make some changes for the better. There have been a million bad reviews on this party from people who have attended so far, waiting on long lines to meet the villians, merchandise being sold out to early on, etc. I sincerely hope it changes for the better next year. We all love the villians and I understand they want to capitalize on this but they need to do it in a more manageable way!
