Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

Beaches and Cream is somewhat of a hidden gem tucked away at Disney's Beach Club resort that features flavored sodas, malted milkshakes and more. Here you and your family can listen to oldies on the classic jukebox while enjoying a meal, dessert or both. It can be somewhat of a tight squeeze when crowded (which it always is) featuring just a few beach ball-themed booths, a handful of tables and a small counter service area. You can access The Beach Club resort easily from a short walk while within the Epcot park, take a water taxi from either Epcot or Hollywood Studios, or take one of the Disney transportation buses to the resort from any of the Disney theme parks.

The old-fashioned soda fountain menu features a selection of  “burger heaven” items as well as grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Hot dogs, chili and onion rings are among the other options on their all American type menu. Children can enjoy a nostalgic style Coca-Cola bottle while parents can sip on a Bud Light or Heineken.

But what Beaches and Cream is really known for, of course, is their dessert! Better yet, their show stopper sundae, The Kitchen Sink: including 8 scoops of ice cream smothered in every topping they literally have as well as a whole can of whipped topping served in nothing else but an actual sink! This sundae on steroids will cost you $28.99 and although they say it serves four it is safe to say a family of six can safely share this without fighting each other for more.

As you witnessed in our video, when this massive sundae is delivered to your table they make sure everyone in the place knows you have ordered it by yelling out to the restaurant what exactly is in it and that you think you can finish the whole thing, meanwhile the lights get turned down for flashing disco lights that go off while its being delivered to your table. There is no room for shyness if you want to order this dessert!

They also have a take out line where you can order a smaller version of their sundae menu where you can enjoy your goodies at a poolside table outside, overlooking Stormalong Bay. This is a must do when you are visiting Walt Disney World on your next vacation and looking for a great dessert stop but make sure you have reservations it is always packed!
