Fuel Rod Portable Charger This neat gadget allows you to charge your mobile device on the go, and then recharge or swap the charger for a fresh one in one of their many machines all over the USA in most vacation destinations and airports. https://fuel-rod.com/

Cash such as small bills are great to utilize for your tips to the bellman, for room service, housekeeping etc. As housekeeping staff rotate shifts you're not guaranteed the same housekeeper each day so leaving a small tip daily versus a large one at check out can be helpful (also don't forget to call your credit card and debit card companies to let them know you are traveling).

Copy of your passport If your passport is ever lost or stolen, you will have the information you need to make a good police report and get a replacement. (Also leave a copy back home with a loved one).

Umbrella/Ponchos These always cost more during vacation than you may find at your local store and unfortunatly Mother Nature does not take mercy on you during vacation, be prepared.

General Medications such as Tylenol/Advil, Benedryl, Pepto Bismol, Tums can save you a good chunk of change if you have them handy when needed rather than having to purchase them in your hotel gift shop.

Empty Reusable Water Bottle is a great addition to your carry on! Many airports, such as the Philadelphia International Airport, offer a Water Bottle Filing Station for your convenience. Although you can not bring liquids through security, you can fill the bottle up after you exit. This way you also have it for the rest of your vacation, saving you money on beverages and keeping you hydrated.

Hand Sanitzer Towlettes can make it through security checkpoints with ease and allow you to sanitize and clean without needing to make trips to the restroom during your wait, they are also great for while your touring your destination!

A Plastic Bag is always great for the wet bathing suit you wear by the pool on your check out day or for those muddy sneakers you wore hiking while you were away.

Mini Instant Stain Remover helps eliminate stains you may not be able to work on until your vacation is over.

Our First Couples Massage In Mexico

Last week me and my husband traveled to Riviera Maya, Mexico to enjoy a few days of relaxation at the beautiful El Dorado Seaside Suites. It was a trip full of many firsts for my husband. His first trip out of the country besides being on a cruise, his first trip to Mexico, and his first day at the spa. I would be lying if I told you I was not surprised my husband agreed to spend the day at the spa, but I was happy nonetheless.
We decided on hydrotherapy, followed by a fifty minute deep tissue massage finished off with a fifteen minute facial. After checking in at the spa, we were lead to the mens/womens changing room area where we were both given a key to our own lockers that held our robe, flip flops, towel and shower cap. We were instructed to start with the sauna for five minutes followed by a shower and then five minutes in the eucalyptus steam room. We did not get to enjoy these activities together since the men and women's changing areas are separated, however after finishing our time in the steam room we were reunited and ready to start the hydrotherapy.

The Hydrotherapy consisted of many different quick activities to rejuvenate your body. During the therapy your spa guide takes you on a water journey from additional time in a sauna and steam room together to a simmering whirlpool and a bracing soak in a very cold polar pool, culminating in the sensations pool, where powerful hydro jets, bubble beds and waterfalls soothe and relax your back, legs and spine. The Water Journey lasts approximately 45 minutes, and it’s a great way to prepare for additional body treatments. We enjoyed all of these activities together which was really nice. This was personally my favorite part of our time spent at the spa.

After completing our hydrotherapy we were directed to an area upstairs to relax in what is called the 'Quiet Area' where we sat on a leather lounger and awaited our masseuses to come and get us. They brought us to our private room where we enjoyed both our massage followed by our facials. From start to finish I would say we spent close to three hours during our time at the spa. Our time started at 9:30 am and I felt it was a great way to start the day and get us in the right mind set to truly enjoy relaxing for the rest of the day. Now that my husband has experienced how amazing a day at the spa is I am sure we will be able to enjoy it even more here at home. Have you ever enjoyed a couples massage with your loved one during vacation? If not, it is time to book your first today!
