New Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando Announced opening 2016

Exciting news announced today by Universal and Loews Hotels for another new hotel on Universal Orlando Resort property. It is called Sapphire Falls Resort and is a Caribbean-themed Loews hotel that will offer a casual feel built around an amazing Lagoon and towering waterfall. Here is what we know so far. It is opening sometime in summer 2016. Although I am guessing it will be categorized a deluxe resort they have not technically announced what category resort it will be considered at this time. The resort will hold 1,000 guest rooms and suites and will allow you the benefit of Early Park Admission to both of the Universal Orlando Theme Parks. Sapphire Falls will offer a resort style pool with water slide, sand beach, children's play area, valet service and a fitness center. There will be full service restaurant with scenic views and outdoor dining, as well as a themed lobby bar, a quick service market place and of course a poolside bar and grill. Reservations will be accepted starting in the spring of 2015. This is fantastic news for Universal Orlando on the heels of the popularity of the Cabana Bay opening. With new resorts and all of the popularity of the Harry Potter expansions, Universal Orlando Resorts is only moving forward! This resort is right up my alley and I can truly say I can not wait to stay here!
