Ever feel like you have stayed in almost every Disney resort in Walt Disney World? Need a change, looking for more space for your family or just want to stay closer to Disney Springs? Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort is the perfect option. We were lucky enough to tour this property recently and were very impressed with what we saw. This resort is one of seven official Disney Springs Resorts that offer tons of perks with more Disney magic than ever! These resorts offer most of the benefits that the onsite Disney resorts offer including FastPass + selections at the 60 day mark (park admission required), dining reservations 180 days prior to your check in, Extra Magic Hours, Disney character breakfast, shuttle to and from Walt Disney World theme parks and an exclusive Disney Springs coupon booklet. They are also home to an official Disney gift shop and offer unlimited DVD rentals to their hotel guests. What a great way to spend a rainy day or relax after a long day in the parks. The room pictured above is a basic standard hotel room but very nice and clean. You will notice a Disney Springs view and you really just can not beat it. For those of you like my husband and myself, this is the perfect spot for guests who love to spend more of their time in Disney Springs. Also a great choice for families who would like to stay on property but need more room or are on a tighter budget. I love this property because although it can be less expensive than staying in a traditional Disney resort you are not giving up staying in a great area with magical benefits! They have a large pool area with a tropical pool side bar and cafe called Rum Largo where you can spend some time relaxing before you walk over to Disney Springs to enjoy their amazing restaurants, all of their shopping and lively entertainment. Again, perfect for those who love spending that additional time over in the Springs area! The Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista resort is home to seven different restaurants including Covington Mills, who hosts a Sunday character breakfast, this breakfast features two exclusive Disney characters. No where else in Walt Disney World can you dine with Br'er Bear or Br'er Fox from Song of the South, but here at the Hilton you can! The buffet also features other classic Disney characters that are subject to change, however, while we dined here we saw Minnie Mouse and Pluto. The buffet is clean and the service is wonderful. One of my favorite things about this resort is that you can actually walk to Disney Springs. They have a sidewalk path that leads to this covered bridge that brings you right into Disney Springs, we walked this path ourselves and it took all of five minutes. Another awesome benefit is that Disney's Minnie Vans are now an option to utilize at any of the seven Disney Springs resorts, including this one. We used a Minnie Van to get to the resort for our character breakfast and our driver told us it is a benefit that just started and we were his very first ride to a Disney Springs resort. We are looking forward to staying here ourselves and are excited about offering it to our clients.
