9/22/2020 0 Comments Halloween in the Magic KingdomYesterday we spent the day in the Magic Kingdom on a mission to find all things "Halloween". Many of us were very disappointed that Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween party was cancelled this year but Disney is doing a fantastic job keeping us excited with their fun Halloween treats, cavalcades and merchandise this season. To start off, Walt Disney World is allowing their guests to dress in costume this season during any normal Magic Kingdom park hours so it was a lot of fun just people watching. Soon as we entered the gates we were welcomed by the beautiful fall colors and Mickey wreathes. Just a few steps onto Main Street we were able to catch both the Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade and then a few minutes later after we did some shopping we were able to watch the Villians Cavalcade. I have also heard that the actual villains can change daily which makes it more exciting to be surprised each day. It was great to walk into the park and immediately enjoy some Halloween happenings. Below you can find video of the decorations on Main Street, Halloween merch, Mickey and Friends Cavalcade and the Villians Cavalcade. Another thing we love are the seasonal treats Disney always offers. Yesterday we started the day with dessert first and stopped by Liberty Square Marketplace for Constance’s For Better or Worse Wedding Cake. It is a citrus-scented cake with Raspberry Bavarian Cream, Glaçage and Buttercream Pearls. A portion of the cake is actually wiggly but the flavors are pretty well balanced and the cake is not dry so it got a thumbs up from us. Because of the consistency of the cake, it may not be for everyone. For lunch we headed over to Cosmic Rays where we put in our mobile order for the Mickey's Monster Mash Burger and a Jack Skellington Sipper. Remember, at this time you still need to complete a mobile order ahead of time in order to obtain any Quick Service food. The burger is loaded with Muenster cheese, potato barrels, bacon, and sriracha aïoli along with lettuce and tomato. We felt it was slightly better than the typical burger you get at Cosmic Rays, but lets be honest, who goes to Cosmic Rays for the food? A little later in the day we snagged some Halloween themed cotton candy. These are just some of the treats we tried, there are many others for you to discover while visiting the Magic Kingdom. We also really loved some of the merchandise this year. As you have seen in the video above there is tons of it to choose from. Below you will find some of our favorite pieces that we found over at Star Traders in Tomorrowland. The Halloween themed Loungefly and Crocs are so adorable and they have some really fun Haunted Mansion stuff. We also think the vintage looking Mickey clothing is a must have! There are a few additional cavalcades not posted here as well as additional merch and Halloween treats (you can only eat so much sugar in a day). But that means there is more for you to be surprised with when you visit this Fall. Many clients have witnessed others traveling to the Orlando and Walt Disney World area and are beginning to feel more comfortable. This means we are seeing many more last minute Fall bookings. It is never to late to plan a trip to the "Most Magical Place On Earth". Now more than ever is the time to make those memories!
