5/8/2018 0 Comments NCL Bliss Inaugural EventThis weekend we were lucky enough to board Norwegians newest ship the Bliss. This ship is nothing short of spectacular. With the first ever race track at sea and a space odyssey themed laser tag area, there is something for everyone to fall in love with on this ship. This is a Mid Ship Balcony cabin, we were lucky enough to stay in this cabin during our time on the ship. One of my favorite things about the cabin is that our shower did not have a curtain but a full enclosed glass door which is a big plus for most guests. Above you will find pictures from the Studio cabin specifically designed for the solo traveler, as well as their neat Studio Lounge area that made you actually want to be a solo traveler! The clean Family Inside cabin hosts a queen pillow-top mattress that can be separated to make two beds. The Mid Ship Balcony has two beds that can be pushed together to create one, along with a sofa bed to accommodate two guests. The bathroom has a beautiful back-splash with a trough sink and two faucets which makes sharing a bathroom a breeze! Family Oceanview with Large Picture Window cabins are usually the most popular for guests traveling with younger children. You have the queen size pillow-top that can be separated into two beds plus single, double and/or Pullman sofa bed. It also features the spacious trough sink with two faucets for a family to have room. NCL Guppies program caters to infants 6 months old to just under 3 years old. There are some different areas for the kids to spread out and it was quite impressive. The Splash Academy was massive, so much room for the kids to enjoy sometime around other kids their ages although the age range is rather expansive. Turtles: 3 - 5 year olds Seals: 6 - 9 year olds Dolphins: 10 - 12 years old (6 - 12 year olds in low season) (The minimum age eligible for Splash Academy is 3 years old at the time of sailing, based on the child's date of birth, according to their birth certificate or passport reflected on the ships manifest.) Entourage is the ships teen club which hosts teens ages 13 years old to 17 years of age. It has many game systems along with some great table games and Foos Ball tables. Your teen will totally want to hide out in here for awhile during your cruise. Between the thermal spa, Snow Paradise, The Salt Bath, and many more amenities the Spa offers, any one looking to pamper themselves is not going to be disappointed. For those looking to cruise in the lap of luxury, this is the way to do it. This is the Haven Owners Suite in the Haven area of the ship. The Haven is home to the most luxurious and spacious areas on the ship. Something that really stood out to me on the Bliss is that the pool deck area is wider and gives you much more space which is great. They have two water slides as well as a few pools and a water area for smaller kids to enjoy. This is in addition to that race track and laser tag area you want to make sure to make reservations for as soon as you board the ship. Food is to die for on the Bliss. There is nothing left out, there is a place to eat for anyone and everyone. They have three main dining rooms along with many specialty restaurants including Margaritaville, a smoke house, a Japanese restaurant and many more options. The buffet is expansive and anyone who enjoys food as much as I do will not be upset (except for when they have to roll off the ship after eating so much for a week.) You will also want to reserve your show time to watch the one and only Jersey Boys. I had seen the Broadway show in the past and the ships showing of it stays true to Broadway. It is a do not miss for sure. I could go on and on forever about what is on this ship, how great it was, and show you hundreds of pictures but you need to get on this ship yourself. Whether you want to visit Alaska or the Caribbean this specific ship has an itinerary for you. At Starstuff Travel we have our own very first hand knowledge about the Bliss since we were some of the very first people to stay on it. “Traveling leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” ― Ibn Battuta I first visited Walt Disney World as a nanny in the late 90's and instantly fell in love! As a mother I knew I wanted to return To Walt Disney World with my four children. Since then I have been multiple times and we just keep going back. I have driven and flown from New England and Georgia. I have visited during all seasons and stayed at over 10 Walt Disney World Resorts and Orlando Area hotels. We are OBSESSED with Disney! I remember my first trip as an adult and a mother and the amount of time and energy I put into planning the "perfect" trip. I also remember sitting on Main Street watching my children and crying just thinking how magical this place is and how amazing it is to watch them absorb Disney World! After years of planning multiple Disney Vacations of my own and assisting friends and family with travel I decided to become a Travel Planner with Starstuff Travel. This was honestly the best professional decision I could have ever made. I truly LOVE what I do. I am a person that needs to be organized and in control of every situation and love helping my clients feel at peace with their upcoming travel. I would love to assist you in planning your next vacation! Amandaw@starstufftravel.com Check us out on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
