4/13/2016 0 Comments Disney's Polynesian BungalowsLast week Starstuff Travel was invited to a private tour of Disney's Polynesian Bungalows. Of course we happily accepted the invitation and boy was it fantastic! The bungalows are part of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort's newly completed construction and are themed to mirror Bora Bora Bungalows giving you that South Pacific island feel. There are 20 of these marvelous private bungalows that are surrounded by the infamous Seven Seas Lagoon and all have unobstructed views of the Magic Kingdom castle. One of the neatest perks of enjoying this fantastic bungalow is the individual sound system that will play the live sound track to the fireworks in the Magic Kingdom every night filling the area with complete magic. You can also watch the Electric Water Pageant nightly right from your own back deck. The back deck of the bungalow features a small plunge pool as well as patio furniture. The side deck holds two individual wicker porch swings. Each bungalow sleeps up to 8, featuring two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the master bedroom you will find a king bed as well as an awesome bathroom with my favorite, a in-mirror television! You will also find a private door onto the side of the deck where those wicker porch swings sit. There is a queen size bed with a neat headboard constructed of surfboards in the second bedroom with a bunk size pull down Murphy bed. The living room is very spacious and also features another pull down Murphy bed. The living room back wall is almost all window facing the castle and has sliding glass doors with access to the back deck (you know, where that private plunge pool is). The kitchen is beautiful and fully loaded with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans, dishwasher and table seating for a party of eight. Of course with any full kitchen you will find a refrigerator, oven, and stove as well as a toaster and a dishwasher. We can even help with setting up a grocery delivery to stock that kitchen up for you and your family! If you felt the need to clean while you were staying here you will also find a vacuum and a washer and dryer. While you are staying here you can enjoy one of two pools on property, either the Lava pool that features a 142 sq ft water slide or the more quiet Oasis pool if you wanted something larger than that private plunge pool on your deck. Polynesian resort is also home to my favorite sit down restaurant Ohana as well as the new Trader Sams Grog Grotto and Tiki Bar that captures the romance of the South Seas. While the pricing of the bungalows can pose a sticker shock to some, Disney has flexible payment options that we here at Starstuff Travel would love to go over with you, coupled with the ability to have almost a year to pay the vacation off, this dream vacation can absolutely be a possibility for your next Walt Disney World vacation. Contact your Starstuff Travel Planner today for more information on booking one of these bungalows for your family today!
