We have all, at one time or another, planned a vacation during the summer (the busiest time of the year at most destinations). Heat, crowds, and long lines can really be tough for families traveling with children. What are some things you do to plan your days strategically while away so you can enjoy the time without too much overload on you and your family? When traveling to theme parks, do you visit the parks for half the day then head back to the resort for a dip in the pool then head back later on? Do you start out later in the day when others maybe leaving the park? Share your stories here so we all can collect advice from others. It may be helpful for your next vacation.
