A Few Of The Many Reasons We Travel

Travel takes you on a journey into new experiences that you would have never been exposed to if you had stayed put. It introduces you to different cultures, broadens your mind and provides a fantastic opportunity to learn so many new things. If we learned one thing during the pandemic, it is that we are never promised tomorrow and we need to make everyday count. It was incredibly hard to narrow down just a few of the many reasons we travel, but we selected those reasons that seem most important to us today.

CELEBRATIONS
People take celebratory trips for many different reasons. Whether for a graduation, a promotion, honeymoon, babymoon, when you travel to mark an occasion, you create unforgettable memories that are tied forever to those special moments in your life. 

STRESS RELIEF
Traveling has the ability to take you out of your daily grind and throw you into new surroundings that can reset your body and mind. It also leads to lower cortisol levels, making you feel more calm and content. 

STRENGTHEN RELASHIONSHIPS
Getting caught up in the daily grind can keep us distant from the ones we love. Taking a trip with loved ones can help us enjoy the pleasure of bonding again. Seeing different places together can bolster our relationships and spark those long lost conversations. 

TOLO (They're Only Little Once)
We only have about eighteen summers with our children before they fly the coop. Creating those memories while our children are still little is not only imperative for us as parents but also for our children to carry over into their adulthood. Filling those scrapbooks full of family vacation pictures is a right of passage for our kids. We will be happy to pull those old photos out in the future when we are missing those little faces. 

ESCAPING
Whether you need to escape your job, a break up or just bad weather, travel is the best remedy when you are unhappy or feeling restless. When you travel you are exposing yourself to things you normally don't find yourself surrounded by when you are at home.
